From the Archives: President Street
Now that Haven is the ripe old age of 7 (almost 8!), we are updating our website in a way we haven’t needed to before. We are deleting old projects to make room for the new! This is a challenge for us, as we enjoy all of our projects. Sending them away into the archives feels so final. So we’re going to add a new recurring segment called “From the Archives” where we feature them here, in our blog, to keep them alive.
For our first feature, we are showing a home on President Street in Downtown Charleston, SC. This was a complete overhaul renovation! (It was literally falling apart, see before photos below!) We worked in collaboration with Engelke Homes and were responsible for Exterior & Interior Finishes, Fixtures, and Materials.
Some of our favorite details on this home were the bold color choices, the antique corbels at the front entrance, and repurposing the original siding for the porch ceiling. It’s quite the transformation!
